Notes/Description
Students pursuing superintendent licensure must have a master’s degree or higher in education or educational leadership, three years of experience as a licensed teacher or school counselor, and licensure as a principal. Additionally, one must have a minimum of one year of licensed experience as a principal or participate in a supervised Board of Public Education internship as superintendent. Additional information about these specific licensure requirements can be directed to the Department of Educational Leadership.
