Pre-Law
The University of Montana's Pre-Law mentoring and certificate program is designed to guide students toward becoming well-informed and well-prepared applicants for law school. Pre-Law students will align their major with their interests and receive personalized mentorship from our faculty to develop strategies for law school preparation.

Students will gain tangible experiences that showcase their undergraduate education's preparation for success in law school and the legal profession.
Ninety percent of UM’s Pre-Law students are accepted to their top-choice law school – a testament to the quality of UM’s Pre-Law Program. Our faculty advising and personalized guidance, coupled with a focus on the student's chosen major, prepares students for law school and beyond.
