Addiction Studies C.T.S.
- The Certificate in Addiction Studies is a set of courses that meet the required 330 hours of addiction education with a requirement of a completed accompanying degree (associate, baccalaureate, or graduate degree in specific disciplines, i.e. psychology, addictions, sociology, social work or similar emphasis areas.)
- Students may only apply for state licensing exam after completing 1000 hours of supervised internships following degree completion.
- The Certificate of Addiction Studies is designed to benefit all qualifying degrees as defined by the MCA 37-35-202.

Unless otherwise noted in individual program requirements, a minimum grade point average of 2.00 in all work attempted at the University of Montana-Missoula is required for graduation. Please see the Academic Policies and Procedures page for information on how your GPA is calculated.
Courses taken to satisfy the requirements of a major, minor, or certificate program must be completed with a grade of C- or better unless a higher grade is noted in the program requirements.
