Educational Leadership M.Ed.

General Graduate Program Requirements

The minimum GPA for any graduate program is 3.0. Individual programs may require more than a 3.0 to remain in good standing. 

The minimum grade for a course to be accepted toward any requirement is C. Individual programs may require higher grades for specific courses.

MASTER OF EDUCATION - EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP

  • The Master of Education in Educational Leadership is designed to provide the student with a Master of Education (M.Ed.) while preparing them for a Montana Class 3 Administrative License and a K-12 Principal Endorsement. The M.Ed. supports existing educators in the process of becoming administrators and school leaders.
  • The 37 required credits are comprised of 12 three-credit courses and one credit for the comprehensive exam which consists of the Master's Program Documentation and Culminating Presentation.
  • Students seeking an administrative license in addition to the M.Ed. are required to complete a field experience and have a minimum of three years of licensed K-12 teaching experience.
