Sound Production Fundamentals Certificate
The Sound Production Fundamentals Certificate offers students from any background and experience level an opportunity to develop skills, technique, and theory in sound production. These skills may be applied to independent producers, aspiring podcasters, sound designers for media (games, film, or social media), or to the individual working in an area that would benefit from increased skills and knowledge in how to work with and manipulate digital audio and sound. The directed sequence of courses assumes students have no prior formal training in sound or audio.
This program is based out of the School of Visual & Media Arts and is in partnership with School of Journalism and School of Music, both of which are also located within the College of the Arts & Media.
