Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Certificate
The Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems helps prepare students to effectively build a more sustainable agriculture and food system for current and future generations. Students develop their knowledge and skills through upper-division courses that emphasize systems thinking, interdisciplinary study, civic engagement, and experiential, service learning at the campus-community PEAS farm.

Unless otherwise noted in individual program requirements, a minimum grade point average of 2.00 in all work attempted at the University of Montana-Missoula is required for graduation. Please see the Academic Policies and Procedures page for information on how your GPA is calculated.
Courses taken to satisfy the requirements of a major, minor, or certificate program must be completed with a grade of C- or better unless a higher grade is noted in the program requirements.
POST-SECONDARY CERTIFICATE - SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE AND FOOD SYSTEMS
- Students must achieve at least an overall grade point average of 3.0 for courses within the certificate program.
- The certificate will only be awarded upon the successful completion of all requirements and the attainment of a baccalaureate degree.
